dmc163 is the independent practice of a senior engineer, bringing structured oversight, technical rigor, and manufacturing-ready thinking to hardware product programs — from first concept to volume production.
From concept to production — for real products
dmc163 was built on a simple observation: most hardware programs don't fail on technology — they fail on clarity. Behind it is my 15+ years of product development and engineering leadership across consumer products and medical devices, owning everything from early concepts to manufacturing scale-up.
That experience was earned inside leading product organizations — partnering with senior management to define product roadmaps, translating requirements into engineering specifications, and guiding complex mechanical assemblies and injection molded components into production.
It spans leading design and development of sporting-goods programs across multiple SKUs and global suppliers, and managing R&D teams developing electrosurgical devices — along with the fixtures, equipment, and validation protocols (IQ/OQ/PQ) needed to build them reliably.
Today, I put that experience to work for teams that need seasoned engineering leadership and practical, hands-on support, without adding a full-time executive to the payroll.
